Maybe it's Illustrator that has a limit in size (don't know why) but it can be managed in this case, don't need precision, so I included a scale mark in the project to calculate it. I opened in Illustrator (so I can re-export to dxf) and it does not keep the scale. Thanks, SVG opens a door to do this co-work with LibreCAD. Ubuntu 18.04, SH3D 6.2 with 2 GB memory allowance Shapes are created using SVG, so you get those oh-so-sweet bzier curves. Windows 10 Pro, SH3D 6.2 with 8 GB memory allowance Vectary 3D plugin for Figma is adding the missing third dimension to your 2D. You could also print as a PDF-file, or make screenshot. You can export 2D as an SVG image using Plan -> Export to SVG format. Re: How to export the project to work with LibreCAD There is Dimension, but is 3D, don't know if can be useful to me. The system comes with 3D modeling, which can be utlized with common interior items such as rugs, furniture, bathroom layouts, and more. I also have some Adobe apps in a monthly plan, I use Illustrator, Photoshop and some others. I don't need detailed simulation, this will be done by the engineers, just need to draw the basic circuit.īut I didn't find a way to export the 2D plan from SH so I can open it in LibreCAD. If I can draw some lines over the plant done in SH will be enough to me so I can estimate costs with specialists. I have researched about what there is in the market for macOS, and started to learn LibreCAD (people talk a lot about Sketch Up, but I didn't like it, simple like this). So I will have to export my work to some 2D format and complete it with another app. I will have to remake the hydraulic system an review the electricity (also cable TV, ethernet, etc). But it does not work with some aspects I will have to deal with in my new apartment project. Sweet Home is really handy, does not require much knowledge to put the ideas on the paper (paper?). NOTE: Silhouette will only cut what is shown on the actual design space. ![]() ![]() Move the green grouped elements off the Silhouette Studio design space. Next, group all the other letters (the ones in black) together. Hi! I am working with this kind of software recently, trying a lot of different apps. If I remember correctly, there is a thread somewhere discussing whether SH3D should support vector (SVG) planIcons. Or are there optimal settings for PNG furniture plan icons so that they don't show up so aliased in the svg/pdf floorplans? It can also be used for designing blueprints of houses. Is there a way to get the furniture paths into SH3D and exported back out in the svg or pdf? In Sweet Home 3D, furniture can be imported and arranged to create a virtual environment. The output of the plan comes out very aliased on my furniture icons, so having the paths would make it easy to stroke in illustrator and export to a vector PDF. When exporting a plan to SVG or printing to PDF the paths for the walls etc are included but the only paths for furniture are the bounding box of the PNG and not the lines of the furniture. I'm curious if there is a way to bring in a vector format to use as a furniture floorplan icon instead of a.
